BRC Leeds Ltd carried out extensive repairs to the stone moulded string course on the Zion United Reformed Church in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.
The badly damaged string course was built up then coated with an adhesive. A stone pre mix mortar was applied, having been carefully coloured to match the original stone. After a period of drying the string course was finally shaped to match the original profile. Finally it was sponged and brushed by our experienced stone repairer.
